How to Use the App

 

FIRST TIME CONNECT

Getting Started

  1. Place the goodniteTM on your bed
  2. Make sure the tube from the backside of the pillow is straight
  3. Do not place additional pillows on top of the goodniteTM; if needed add pillows underneath
  4. Place the control unit under or beside your bed
  5. Enable the Bluetooth on your phone

Open App

  1. Download the Nitelink2 Sleep Tracker App and open it
  2. Read the Privacy Policy screen and click AGREE
  3. On the Health Access screen, click on Turn All Categories ON and then click on Allow on the top
  4. On the Welcome to Nitelink2 Sleep Tracker screen click on:
    • I already have a goodniteTM
    • Or on Tutorial for a refresher on how to use the goodniteTM
    • AND click off Don’t show again to dismiss the prompt for the next use

Connect

  1. Turn on your goodniteTM control unit - a green light should be lit up
  2. On the next screen Welcome to goodniteTM click on
    • YES
    • AND click off Don’t show again to dismiss the prompt for the next use
  3. On the SELECT CONNECTION TYPE screen choose Remember (recommended)
  4. Your app will then connect to the goodniteTM
  5. To connect the goodniteTM without this prompt please review the IF YOUR APP GETS DISCONNECTED section

Set ACTIVE

  1. The ACTIVE feature in the app determines if the pillows functionality is turned on:
    • ACTIVE ON records your snoring with the functionality of the pillow turned on and ACTIVE OFF records your snoring without the functionality
    • ACTIVE should be set to OFF for the first three nights you sleep on the pillow to give you an accurate comparison of your snoring with and without the pillow functionality
  2. On the next screen GETTING STARTED click on:
    • Set ACTIVE OFF
    • AND click off Don’t show again to dismiss the prompt for the next use
  3. The section AFTER 3 DAYS below describes how to turn the pillow’s functionality on after 3 days

Set SCHEDULE

  1. On the bottom of your app choose the PROFILE tab
  2. Click on Set Schedule to add the hours you will be sleeping on the goodniteTM
    • Click on Start Time and set the time you will be going to sleep
    • Click on Stop Time and set the time you will be waking up in the morning
    • Then click Done

Note: the goodniteTM pillow will not work if you don’t set a time

  1. Keep the power to ON on the control unit during the daytime

Note: if the power has been turned OFF or disconnected, you will need to connect the pillow to the Nitelink2 APP again to set the correct sleeping time and ACTIVE setting

  1. Go to the IF YOUR APP GETS DISCONNECTED section to reconnect your app to the pillow

Sleep On Pillow

  1. Sleep on the pillow
  2. Data will be displayed if the user sleeps on the pillow for more than 15 minutes

 

HOW TO SET ACTIVE TO ON AFTER 3 DAYS

Set ACTIVE to ON

  1. On the bottom of your app click on the PROFILE tab
  2. Beside Set ACTIVE click on the face icon and turn ACTIVE from OFF to ON
  3. See for yourself how the pillow improves your snoring!

IF YOUR APP GETS DISCONNECTED

Reconnect to Pillow

  1. If the power has been turned off or disconnected, you will need to connect the pillow to the Nitelink2 APP again to set the correct time and data
  2. Make sure the goodniteTM control unit is turned; look if the green light is lite up
  3. Open the Nitelink2 Sleep Tracker App
  4. On the top of the screen click on the Touch here to connect button
  5. On the SELECT CONNECTION TYPE screen choose Remember (recommended)
  6. When the circle turns from red to green the app is connected to the goodniteTM
  7. On the bottom of your app click on the PROFILE tab
  8. Click on Set SCHEDULE to reset your sleep schedule

Note: the goodniteTM pillow will not work if you don’t set a time

  1. Beside Set ACTIVE click on the face icon and turn the pillow on or off
  2. Set ACTIVE to OFF if you are still in the first three days of using the pillow
  3. Set ACTIVE to ON if you already recorded your snoring for 3 days

OTHER FEATURES

Set Snoring Sensitivity

  1. If you find your goodniteTM is either too sensitive or not sensitive enough to your snoring, you can change it reception
  2. On the bottom of your app click on the PROFILE tab
  3. Click on Set SENSITIVITY
  4. Choose from Low, Normal or High Sensitivity
  5. In most cases the Normal setting will yield the best results and is recommended

Note: Keep 4” (10cm) distance between your goodniteTM and your spouse’s pillow to avoid unwanted interference

View Sleep Data

  1. On the bottom of your app click on the CHART tab
  2. Scroll down to the SLEEP MONITOR section
  3. Click on the downward arrow (v) to open the section
  4. View the sleep data

View Comparison of Your Snoring

  1. On the bottom of your app click on the COMPARISON tab
  2. If you recorded your snoring for three days without the pillow functionality [ACTIVE = OFF] and then recorded your snoring with the pillow functionality turned on [ACTIVE = ON], this chart will show you the difference the goodniteTM pillow has had on your snoring
